January ended with a weekend for young people aged 18 - 35. We had 8 young people from a range of ages and professions who came to experience some Sacred space and Scripture with us. They had talks on stewardship and creation, the Psalms and also joined in the prayer of the community. Saturday was spent in a range of occupations, apple peeling, gardening and even bracelet making! It was a real experience of sharing and we hope to have more of this type of weekend for young people over the next year. It was good to see some former and present students from St. Bernard's, Slough as well. We also welcomed Bamber Bridge parish back to Hyning last week. It is always good to see this group. We have had a series of day groups in over the last week, including a confirmation group from a parish in Ulverston. On February 9th we began a series of talks on Wisdom Literature and the Psalms. Cry out for insight, Proverbs 2:3—5 More information and booking details can be found on the Programme page. Lay associates page Our Lay associates continue to grow and deepen their links with us.
