Long ago, two men and two women encountered God in extraordinary ways as they discovered that the time had come at last for the Messiah to be born.  Across the centuries since then, artists have told many stories about Mary, Joseph, Zechariah and Elizabeth and how they prepared to welcome Jesus.  Join curator and art historian Amina Wright as we ponder these works of art and journey towards Advent. 

Amina Wright is an art lecturer and curator of historic art collections and has an MA in Christianity and the Arts from King’s College London.  Until recently, she was Senior Curator at the Faith Museum in County Durham.
